Dr. Topol said: "This is beyond Covid denialism, also representing anti-science, negating the extraordinary progress we’ve made over the past 5 years."
This anti-science movement in our society --- a movement with intellectual parallels in other areas of American life --- is deeply disturbing. All of us who are opposed to this movement need to do what we can to support, in our words and deeds, the practitioners of true science.
Another thought: the link to this substack post should be send to the senator Bill Cassidy M. D.
Update. Actually, in rollcall.com, a post from August 7 provided a strong response from the senator against cancelling of mRNA vaccine. Today, I emailed to his office your article.
Dr. Topol - I am 80 yrs old, have a calcium score of 3,600 [!! In spite of nearly half a century of running and a pretty good diet] but I am totally asymptomatic (I run 25 miles/week), my echo stress test showed my heart function at 127% of predicted for my age, and a heart catheterization last November indicated that there was no need for any further intervention (other than maintaining Crestor, Zetia, baby aspirin, diet and exercise) I had Covid back in June - it was a mild case thanks to Paxlovid (I had no symptoms after the first 12 hours on Paxlovid other than exhaustion)—but I tested positive for 17 days (again, no symptoms - just really tired). Given the findings you’ve identified above, is it possible that such a mild case of Covid could have made my CAD worse? I still feel fine and have no symptoms (shortness of breath, chest pains, etc.).
Hello Dr. Topol, please excuse my confusion, this study is identified as: NCT05380622. A paper just published on a similar theme has just been discredited: https://x.com/dlingenfelter/status/1957507201993699357/photo/1 The Cartesian Study identified as NCT04558450? Comment please?
It appears that this person is claiming the study findings are flawed. The study was peer-reviewed in highly reputable journal so we'll see how this plays out
Okay, thanks. And they are different studies but drawing similar conclusions, correct? I am not trying to confuse, just trying to ensure my own process of determining fact from fiction is effective.

Can someone get this to RFK please before he changes the prescribing requirements for Covid vaccines?!
This is exactly what I just wrote to a few people before reading your comments: Somebody must send this to RFK and Co.
Looks like many of us think alike.

Since we know vaccinated people are still getting Long Covid, I’d like to see how their artery aging compares
COVID, Arterial Health and Erectile Disfunction. ..... We need data
