Thank you so much for this interview. I vividly recall watching Joe Rogan and Dr. Osterholm speak in March of 2020. That was how I found him and I have listened to every Osterholm Update since that time. A treasure.

I wrote a letter to my congressman identifying what he should do to help restore functions of HHS and then watched this

The information you both provide in this interview alone is clear and enormously helpful, even as much of what you describe is devastating. I appreciate most of all your ability and willingness to persevere, including weathering the slings and arrows that accompany being in the public eye, and thereby inspire us all. I am in NYS and have written to my federal and state representatives on the current COVID vaccine availability issue. I am pleased to report that my state assembly person, the newly elected Micah Lasher, has already proposed legislation to address the CVS-related issue (this will also require the state legislature to have a special session), and also to call upon the state DOH to provide an interim “fix.” As you both lay out so clearly, this is of course only one small piece of the puzzle to get us on track going forward, but what you both model here is for each and every one of us, in whatever ways we can, to find ways to push on, to bend but not to break.🙏👏🙏

I just listened to your interviews with Peter Hotez and Michael Osterholm back-to-back. It made my day to remember that there are brilliant scientists (you are my 3 favorites) who are tirelessly dedicated to actually making us safer and healthier. I first discovered both Hotez and Osterholm in early 2020 when my nephew (a Ph.D. student at Baylor) sent links to Joe Rogan’s interviews. While I’m not a Rogan fan, I’ve not missed an “Osterholm Update,” I’ve read their books and I look for interviews with all three of you as a way of continuing to strengthen my base of knowledge. Thank you!
