Very informative interview and thank you Andy for educating us. There are too many variables between the present and even two years out to hazard any predictions. Most if not all long term forecasts turn out to be at best only ten percent correct unless dealing in large generalities. So we honestly don't know how AGI is going to play out. Currently I lean, for highly technical reasons, toward techno-optimism, but still urge caution, all the while vigorously advancing with creativity.. the upside in all likelihood will be enormous...unlimited in fact.
