Very informative and what is so striking as commented by yourself Eric and J. Allen...the few dollars for a much more efficient filter to limit the outdoor pollution from entering a building has a tremendous impact on improved air quality.

This is a message we need to spread...just forwarded this discussion.

Thank you

One factor missing amidst all this discussion of air filtration. What happens when you open windows? Not always possible but clearly a source of mitigation

Agree, we were addressing when you can't open window but you are absolutely correct

It is amazing to have so much in one place in this one episode with Joseph Allen. I read your posts regularly anyway, but this time I pay up even if I need to cut a subscription elsewhere.

Question: I see there are studies/articles mentioning possible 'clinical sequelae' for the biota from the ubiquity of the forever chemicals and imicro plastic & their combination. Do these studies have the same problems telling the world about, for example, the insects/invertebrates, the food chains, the fundamentals that run the C, N, O cycles and ecology?

Thank you Eric!

I am occasionally a go-between some busy people. I alerted already a British group to your recent discussion. Linked to Independent SAGE they have maintained strong interest in air quality, covid data and public health interventions. 'Out of the silos!' Makes me want to take a sledgehammer to the cement block that entombs our office and open a view to the sky and entryway for fresh air. I took my CO2 monitor once and it usually read in the 700s at least - so we are getting the bare minimum acceptable air exchanges I guess. Thank you Joseph for your service! Thanks Eric for the spotlight here!
